RESUMO Objetivo: Conhecer a participação da criança no cuidado de Enfermagem a partir de uma intervenção lúdica na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Pediátrica. Método: Estudo qualitativo, realizado entre outubro de 2022 a fevereiro de 2023 na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Pediátrica com dez crianças entre cinco e 11 anos, no Maranhão, Brasil. Utilizou-se uma história em quadrinhos sobre crianças hospitalizadas. Optou-se pela Análise Temática de Minayo para análise dos dados. Resultados: A participação da criança no cuidado deu-se por liberdade de expressão e estímulo a conhecer a situação clínica de forma própria para a idade. O uso dos quadrinhos mostrou-se uma tecnologia para brincar, educar e cuidar, pois reuniu elementos lúdicos e educativos capazes de intervir nessas três dimensões. Conclusão: A participação da criança no cuidado envolveu escuta sensível, comunicação adequada para a idade, abordagem inclusiva e o permitir ser criança enquanto aprende sobre si e o ambiente.


ABSTRACT Objective: To learn about children's participation in nursing care through a playful intervention in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Method: Qualitative study carried out between October 2022 and February 2023 in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with ten children between five and 11 years old in Maranhão, Brazil. A comic book about hospitalized children was used. Minayo's Thematic Analysis was used to analyze the data. Results: The child's participation in the care took place through freedom of expression and encouragement to learn about the clinical situation in a way that was appropriate for their age. Comics proved to be a technology for playing, educating, and caring, combining playful and educational elements capable of intervening in these three dimensions. Conclusion: The child's participation in care involved sensitive listening, age-appropriate communication, an inclusive approach, and allowing them to be a child while learning about themselves and their environment.


RESUMEN Objetivo: Conocer la participación de los niños en los cuidados de enfermería a través de una intervención lúdica en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Pediátricos. Método: Estudio cualitativo, realizado entre octubre de 2022 y febrero de 2023 en una Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Pediátricos con diez niños de entre cinco y once años, en Maranhão, Brasil. Se utilizó un cómic sobre niños hospitalizados. Para analizar los datos se utilizó el análisis temático de Minayo. Resultados: La participación del niño en los cuidados adoptó la forma de libertad de expresión y estímulo para conocer la situación clínica de forma adecuada a su edad. El uso del cómic resultó ser una tecnología para jugar, educar y cuidar, ya que reunía elementos lúdicos y educativos capaces de intervenir en estas tres dimensiones. Conclusión: La participación del niño en los cuidados implicaba una escucha sensible, una comunicación adecuada a su edad, un enfoque integrador y permitir ser un niño mientras aprendía sobre sí mismo y su entorno.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to analyzing the Effectiveness of Using Interactive Multimodality Books in Pediatric Nursing on Student Learning Outcomes in Implementing the Merdeka Belajar Program. Methods: the research design used a quasi-experimental approach with a posttest control group design. The sample in this study was the fourth-semester nursing students of Institute of Health Science Suaka Insan Banjarmasin who received the Pediatric Nursing course, a total of 52 students. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Data analysis used the dependent t-test. Results: the interactive multimodality pediatric nursing book was effective in improving the learning achievement of fourth-semester students with a significance value of 0.015 < 0.05. There is a difference in the average value of pediatric nursing courses for class A and class B, which is 3.173. Conclusions: the use of interactive multimodality books is very good for lecturers to apply in teaching to help students understand the material they are learning.


RESUMO Objetivos: analisar a eficácia do uso de livros interativos multimodalidade em enfermagem pediátrica nos resultados de aprendizagem do aluno na implementação do programa Merdeka Belajar. Métodos: estudo de abordagem quase-experimental com um projeto de grupo de controle pós-teste. A amostra incluiu 52 alunos de enfermagem do quarto semestre do Instituto de Ciências da Saúde Suaka Insan Banjarmasin que frequentaram o curso de Enfermagem Pediátrica. Foi utilizada a técnica de amostragem total e o teste t dependente na análise dos dados. Resultados: o livro interativo multimodalidade de enfermagem pediátrica foi eficaz para melhorar o desempenho de aprendizagem dos alunos do quarto semestre com um valor de significância de 0,015 < 0,05. Há uma diferença de 3,173 no valor médio dos cursos de enfermagem pediátrica da classe A e da classe B. Conclusões: o uso de livros interativos multimodalidade é muito bom para os professores na aplicação do ensino a fim de ajudar os alunos no entendimento do material que estão aprendendo.

Métodos: investigación cuasi-experimental con un diseño de grupo de control posterior a la prueba. En este estudio, la muestra incluyó 52 estudiantes de enfermería del cuarto semestre del Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud Suaka Insan Banjarmasin que recibieron el curso de Enfermería Pediátrica. Fue utilizada la técnica de muestreo total y la prueba t dependiente en el análisis de datos. Resultados: el libro interactivo multimodal de enfermería pediátrica fue efectivo en la mejora del logro de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de cuarto semestre con un valor de significancia de 0,015 < 0,05. Hay una diferencia en el valor promedio de los cursos de enfermería pediátrica para la clase A y la clase B, que es de 3,173. Conclusiones: el uso de libros multimodales interactivos es muy bueno para que los profesores los apliquen en la enseñanza para ayudar a los estudiantes a comprender el material que están aprendiendo.

Resumo O artigo retrata os interesses de uma escritora inglesa do século XVII sobre cuidados médicos, e as razões que a levaram a publicar textos sobre essa matéria. Hannah Woolley tecia orientações sobre diversos assuntos do âmbito doméstico, entre os quais receitas para preservar a beleza e a saúde. O artigo investiga os princípios que regiam o preparo dessas receitas, as intenções de Woolley ao escrever sobre o tema, e a maneira como a medicina acadêmica era traduzida e praticada por mulheres no cotidiano da época. O delineamento dessas questões ajudará a elucidar o cenário de atuação das curadoras letradas e a natureza das relações que teceram com os médicos eruditos.


Abstract This article describes a seventeenth-century English woman writer's interests in medical care and the reasons that led her to publish texts on this topic. Hannah Woolley offered guidance on a wide variety of topics in the domestic sphere, including recipes for health and beauty. Here we investigate the principles that governed the preparation of these recipes, Woolley's intentions in writing on this topic, and the way in which academic medicine was translated and practiced by women routinely during this period. Defining these issues will help shed light on the scenario in which literate female healers worked and the nature of their relationships with learned physicians.

After reviewing and evaluating the Discipline History of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in China, the authors concludes that this book has the following characteristics: the scientific research focuses on the combination of internal and external history, and the conclusions are rigorous; the narrative style and structure featured by the division of discipline history of ancient times, modern times and current times are quite characteristic and enlightening; the reference materials are detailed and advanced, which showes profound thoughts and concerns about the difficulties and challenges faced by the development of acupuncture and moxibustion discipline and the internal path selection of acupuncture and moxibustion research. In addition, this book discusses the unique importance of the cultural attribute behind acupuncture and moxibustion technology in the process of theoretical research of acupuncture and moxibustion.

Trata-se de uma extensa e sistemática revisão crítica sobre o livro intitulado: " Psychoanalysis, Group Analysis and Beyond - Towards a New Paradigm of the Human Being" da autoria de dois grupanalistas e psicanalistas de nacionalidade mexicana, sendo ele, argentino de nascimento, respetivamente, Juan Tubert-Oklander e Reyna Hernández-Tubert, os quais apoiados numa ampla e atualíssima bibliografia, propõem algumas novas ideias sobre como pensarmos e compreendermos as Pessoas dentro dos seus contextos familiares, sociais e políticos, enquanto seres de dupla natureza, biológica e psíquica/mental a partir de dinâmicas biopsíquicas, ora inconscientes, ora conscientes que se expressam a diferentes níveis da comunicação e da relação (intrapsíquica, interpessoal e transpessoal). Nesta coletânea de artigos publicados nos últimos 25 anos, nós encontramos propostas bastante corajosas e inovadoras todas elas escrita num elegante estilo. Os textos estão apoiados por uma sólida estrutura argumentativa e epistemológica com o propósito de pensarmos e revermos algumas das nossas " visões" sobre o que é ser-se Pessoa, propondo linhas de pensamento no sentido de desenvolver novos paradigmas conceptuais, por exemplo, como acabar com a oposição altamente problemática do que é " individual" perante do que é " coletivo" ( Tubert-Oklander, 2014).


This is an extensive and systematic critical review of the book entitled: "Psychoanalysis, Group Analysis and Beyond - Towards a New Paradigm of the Human Being" by two groups and psychoanalysts of Mexican nationality, being he, Argentinian of birth, respectively, Juan Tubert-Oklander and Reyna Hernández-Tubert, who supported in a wide and current bibliography, propose some new ideas on how to think and understand the People within their family, social and political contexts, as beings of dual nature, biological and psychic/mental from biopsychic dynamics, or unconscious, or conscious that express themselves at different levels of communication and relationship (intra-psyche, interpersonal and transpersonal). In this collection of articles published in the last 25 years, we find very bold and innovative proposals all written in an elegant style. The texts are supported by a solid argumentative and epistemological structure with the purpose of thinking and reviewing some of our " visions" about what it is to be a Person, proposing lines of thought to develop new conceptual paradigms, for example, how to end the highly problematic opposition of what is " individual" before what is " collective" ( Tubert-Oklander, 2014).


Se trata de una extensa y sistemática revisión crítica del libro titulado: "Psicoanálisis, Análisis grupal y más allá - Hacia un nuevo paradigma del ser humano" por dos grupos y psicoanalistas de nacionalidad mexicana, siendo él, argentino de nacimiento, respectivamente, Juan Tubert-Oklander y Reyna Hernández-Tubert, quienes apoyados en una amplia y actual bibliografía, proponen algunas nuevas ideas sobre cómo pensar y entender al Pueblo dentro de su contextos familiares, sociales y políticos, como seres de naturaleza dual, biológicos y psíquicos/mentales a partir de dinámicas biopsíquicas, o inconscientes, o conscientes que se expresan en diferentes niveles de comunicación y relación (intrapsiquica, interpersonal y transpersonal). En esta colección de artículos publicados en los últimos 25 años, encontramos propuestas muy audaces e innovadoras todas escritas en un estilo elegante. Objetivo: descrever a experiência da construção do E-book sobre COVID-19 para o público em geral. Método: estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência resultante das ações do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Saúde da Pessoa em Condições Críticas, consistiu no empenho acadêmico sobre os efeitos do SARS-CoV-2, causador da Pandemia. Todas as etapas da construção do E-book, foram elaboradas pelos autores, incluindo as ilustrações apresentadas. Realizou-se reuniões virtuais para discussão do tema, na sequência, a construção do material. Resultados: promoção do repasse de conhecimentos sobre a temática, de forma simples e acessível. Publicado pela editora do Conselho Federal de Enfermagem, Brasília-DF. O E-book contêm um total de cinquenta e sete páginas. ISBN: 978-65-87031-01-9 Conclusão: a construção desse material educativo foi uma forma de educação em saúde, levando orientações de fácil compreensão e acesso. As informações através de materiais didáticos auxiliam a população a preparar-se para esse enfrentamento. (AU)


Objective: To describe the experience of building the E-book on COVID-19 for the general public. Methods: A descriptive study, of the experience report type resulting from the actions of the Study Group and Research in Health of the Person in Critical Conditions consisted of the academic commitment on the effects of SARS-CoV-2, which causes Pandemic. All the stages of the construction of the E-book, were elaborated by the authors, including the presented illustrations. Virtual meetings were held to discuss the topic, followed by the construction of the material. Results: promoting the transfer of knowledge on the theme, in a simple and accessible way. Published by the publisher of the Federal Nursing Council, Brasília-DF. The E book contains a total of fifty-seven pages. Conclusion: the construction of this educational material was a form of health education, taking guidelines that are easy to understand and access. Information through didactic materials helps the population to prepare for this confrontation. (AU)

Resumo Na marca dos 60 anos de sua publicação, este artigo reconstrói a biografia do livro The presentation of self in everyday life , de Erving Goffman, de 1959. Utiliza-se, de forma adaptada, a perspectiva de Robert Darnton, original e revisitada pelo autor em seus estudos sobre a história dos livros. Além desse referencial, o artigo faz uso de textos originais de Goffman, da tradução brasileira, de estudos bibliográficos, artigos críticos, resenhas, coletâneas, e de entrevistas e informações que fazem parte do Erving Goffman Archives. Na análise da obra, procura-se acompanhar a trajetória do autor, enfatizando a importância e o impacto do texto, com dados quantitativos e qualitativos, cuja importância estende-se além da academia.


Abstract Sixty years after Erving Goffman's book The Presentation of Self In Everyday Life was published (1959), this article reconstructs its biography by adapting the perspective of Robert Darnton (the original, as well as the revisited one on the history of books). Original texts by Goffman in Brazilian translations are used, along with bibliographical studies, critical articles, reviews, collections, and interviews and information that are part of the Erving Goffman Archives. The goal is to follow this author's trajectory, emphasizing the importance and impact of his text, with quantitative and qualitative data that extend beyond academia in terms of importance.

ABSTRACT

A dislexia é um transtorno específico de aprendizagem que pode afetar a habilidade de leitura prejudicando, principalmente, o processo de alfabetização. Na leitura, alguns dos sintomas observados são os erros de reconhecimento de palavras e a dificuldade de decodificação de palavras, o que acaba ocasionando um prejuízo na compreensão de textos. Pesquisas publicadas na literatura indicam que o uso de conteúdos multimídia melhoram o desempenho de leitura de escolares com dislexia. No entanto, a maioria das aplicações multimídia usam apenas dois dos cinco sentidos humanos: a visão e a audição. O MBook, livro multissensorial desenvolvido para este trabalho, utiliza um rastreador ocular para sincronizar mídias multissensoriais de vento, cheiro, sons e luzes ao texto que está sendo lido. Baseado na hipótese de que o livro multissensorial poderia diminuir a sobrecarga na memória de trabalho durante a leitura, favorecendo a compreensão de textos, aumentando o número de palavras lidas por minuto e aumentando a motivação pela leitura, foi realizada uma comparação entre dois estudos de caso individuais, um com um escolar com dislexia e outro sem. Os resultados apontam para um ganho maior na compreensão do texto e aumento na velocidade da leitura pelo escolar com dislexia ao utilizar mídias multissensoriais. Além disso, em ambos os casos, o uso da ferramenta indicou um aumento na motivação pela leitura.


Dyslexia is a specific learning disorder that can affect reading ability, mainly impairing the literacy process. In reading, some of the symptoms observed are errors of word recognition and difficulty in decoding words, which causes a loss in the comprehension of texts. Studies published in the literature indicate that the use of multimedia content improves the reading performance of students with dyslexia. However, most multimedia applications use only two of the five human senses: vision and hearing. The MBook, a multisensory book developed for this work, uses an eye tracker to synchronize wind, smell, sounds, and light effects to the text being read. Based on the hypothesis that the multisensory book could reduce the overload in working memory during reading, favoring the comprehension of texts, increasing the number of words read per minute and increasing motivation for reading, a comparison of two individual case studies was conducted: one with a student with dyslexia and one without. The results pointed to a greater gain in the comprehension of the text and an increase in reading speed by the student with dyslexia when multisensory media were used. In addition, with both students, the use of the tool pointed to an increase in reading motivation.

ABSTRACT

Os paralelos entre fenômeno religioso e funcionamento psíquico são uma constante no pensamento junguiano. Por meio deste problema, Jung aborda questões estruturais em sua teoria, tais como a tendência à unilateralidade da atividade consciente; o caráter compensatório e autorregulador da psique, resultante dessa tendência; a distinção entre confissão religiosa e religiosidade. Essas questões operam no sentido de salientar o lugar central ocupado pela função religiosa na estrutura psíquica, lugar que não se confunde, todavia, com uma adesão a dogmas religiosos. Tendo como ponto de partida o Livro vermelho, a crítica de Jung ao cristianismo nos orientará ao longo deste ensaio sobre a função da religião na vida psíquica. Duas conclusões emergem desta reflexão: a perspectiva psicológica adotada por Jung para a análise dos fenômenos religiosos, e o uso destes para demonstrar a tese da autonomia dos fatos psíquicos.


The parallels between religious phenomenon and psychic functioning are a constant in Jungian thought. By means of this problem, Jung addresses structural issues in his theory, such as the tendency to unilaterality of conscious activity; the compensatory and self-regulating character of the psychic functioning, as a result of this tendency; the distinction between religious confession and religiosity. All of this serves to highlight the central role Jung attaches to religious function in the psychic structure, a role which is not, however, confused with an adherence to religious dogmas. Taking The Red Book as a starting point, Jung's critique of Christianity will guide us throughout this essay on the role of religion in psychic life. Two major conclusions can be outlined from these observations: the psychological perspective Jung adopted for the analysis of religious phenomena, and the use of these phenomena to demonstrate the autonomy of psychic facts.


La relación entre el fenómeno religioso y el funcionamiento psíquico es una constante en el pensamiento junguiano. A través de este problema, Jung aborda cuestiones estructurales en su teoría, como la tendencia a la unilateralidad de la actividad consciente; el carácter compensatorio y autorregulador de la psique; resultante de esa tendencia; a distinción entre confesión religiosa y religiosidad. Todo esto sirve para señalar el rol central de la función religiosa en la estructura psíquica, un rol que, sin embargo, no se confunde con una adhesión a los dogmas religiosos. Tomando el Libro Rojo como punto de partida, la crítica de Jung al cristianismo nos guiará a través de esta reflexión sobre el papel de la religión en la vida psíquica. De esta reflexión surgen dos conclusiones principales: la perspectiva psicológica adoptada por Jung para el análisis de los fenómenos religiosos, y la centralidad de estos fenómenos para demostrar la autonomía de los hechos psíquicos.

RESUMEN Fundamento: el desarrollo científico-tecnológico alcanzado en tomografía y la inclusión de sus procederes en la carrera de Imagenología a la cual se le ha añadido la Radiofísica Médica, demandan profundizar y actualizar los contenidos en textos de estudio. Objetivo: caracterizar el libro de texto "Tomografía computarizada. Alta tecnología en imágenes médicas" para la carrera de Imagenología y Radiofísica Médica. Métodos: se realizó una investigación con enfoque cualitativo en la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana en la Facultad "Manuel Fajardo", año 2020, en la cual se emplearon métodos teóricos, y como empírico, el análisis documental para verificar los nexos y relaciones que se ofrecen en los referentes teóricos relacionados con las características que debe poseer un libro de texto. Resultados: está estructurado en 11 capítulos, cada uno con una breve introducción sobre el tema. Contiene ilustraciones, esquemas e imágenes tomográficas, correspondientes a los contenidos abordados y bibliografía actualizada al finalizar. Posee un glosario de términos técnicos. Su significación teórica viene determinada por su contribución a la educación médica, en especial a especialidades afines. Conclusiones: se caracterizó el libro desde su estructura, contenidos y beneficios que reporta al proceso enseñanza aprendizaje de las carreras de Imagenología y Radiofísica Médica; su novedad científica se manifiesta por ser el primer texto refiere la tomografía desde la óptica del operador.


ABSTRACT Background: the scientific-technological development achieved in tomography and the inclusion of its procedures in the Imaging degree to which Medical Radio physics has been added, demand to deepen and update the contents in study texts. Objective: to characterize the textbook "Computerized tomography. High technology in medical images "for the Medical Imaging and Radio physics degree. Methods: an investigation with a qualitative approach was carried out at Havana University of Medical Sciences at the "Manuel Fajardo" Faculty, year 2020, in which theoretical methods were used, and as empirical, the documentary analysis to verify the links and relationships that are offered in the theoretical references related to the characteristics that a textbook should have. Results: it is structured in 11 chapters, each one with a brief introduction on the subject. It contains illustrations, diagrams and tomographic images, corresponding to the contents addressed and an updated bibliography at the end. It has a glossary of technical terms. Its theoretical significance is determined by its contribution to medical education, especially to related specialties. Conclusions: the book was characterized from its structure, contents and benefits that it reports to the teaching-learning process of the Medical Imaging and Radio physics degeer; Its scientific novelty is manifested as the first text referring to the tomography from the operator's perspective.

@#Nutrition education on healthy eating during childhood plays an important role in ensuring healthy growth process of children. One method of doing so is by using age-appropriate education tools. This cross-sectional, quasi-experimental study was to assess the effectiveness of interactive book, which had its content appropriateness assessed, as an education tools in improving knowledge level on healthy diet among preschoolers. 116 subjects aged 4-6 years (60±10 months) were recruited and randomly grouped into intervention group and control group (each with 58 subjects) from five kindergartens in Bangi, Selangor where only those subjects from intervention group were exposed to the interactive book prepared prior to this study. A same set of questionnaires, with a total score of 32, was used to assess changes in subjects’ knowledge levels at Pre-test (before intervention), Post-test I and Post-test II (one-week after Pre-test), where Post-test I only involved subjects from intervention group. At Pre-test, the intervention group scored 25±5, while the control group scored 26±4. After intervention, mean score for intervention group increased to 29±4 for both Post-test I and Post-test II; whereas it remained relatively unchanged for control group for Post-test II (26±5). Significant increase in knowledge level (p<0.001) was found in intervention group, both after intervention and effect of group*time, compared to control group (p=0.077). Hence, this study proved that interactive book could potentially be an effective education tool in nutrition education and improving knowledge level on healthy diet among preschoolers and children.

@#Introduction: To ensure that they will be the safe health-care providers, the medical schools must guarantee that their students meet the predetermined criteria before graduating. To fulfil this condition, usually a small proportion of students, need remedial training before they could graduate. In October 2018 we designed an academic remediation programme for 24 students who were to re-appear in their Final Professional MBBS Examination (FPE) in March/ April 2019. Aim of the remediation programme was not only to help the students to pass the examination but also to train them as safe future doctors. Methods: A rotational programme was drawn to cover all the relevant disciplines. A number of well-planned interventions were applied. A clinical examination in various combinations of a long case, short cases and OSCE stations was conducted at the end of each rotation and the written examination was conducted after completing the full 24 weeks of the programme before they sat in the FPE. Results: The five most useful interventions identified in the students’ feedback included: “Patient to book approach”; Mentoring; Group study; Mock examinations and Flipped class-rooms. Eighteen of the 24 (75%) students passed the FPE. The five of the six students failed because of the poor performance in the clinical examination. Conclusion: Remedial interventions can be successful by having clear goals and directions. Individualized approach in identifying and addressing the issues and by seeking help from the relevant professionals ensures the success.

ABSTRACT

In career education, devising ways to elicit proactive participation is vital, thus we conducted face-to-face workshops to drive learners’ participation. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to teach classes online. Therefore, to motivate more than 100 students to participate actively in the online format, we conducted career education using Active Book Dialogue® where several students read a book together in a short period of time. Each student read a specific part of the book they were assigned and summarized it in collaboration with their group members. This enabled them to learn career theory. Additionally, the online format allowed several lectures to be held within a remote and interactive environment. We will reflect on this experience and report on how this can be applied in other schools.

ABSTRACT

Dental Economics is the discipline of economics applied to the topic of oral health care and addresses the perceptive of planning, budgeting and monitoring the economic evaluation relating to the cost and benefits of alternative ways of delivering oral health care. The Dental Practioners, once they are out in a competitive Clinical World who opt for clinical set up, need to focus on growing their practices, thus maintaining a competitive edge. We wanted to assess the knowledge and attitude of dental students about business in dentistry and also about Black Book among dental students. MethodsAn interventional cross-sectional descriptive baseline KAP (Knowledge, Attitude and Practice) study was conducted among 250 dental students from Western Maharashtra between May 2016 and July 2016. Pre- / post-test questionnaires applying open ended and close ended questions were designed and validated. A brief power point presentation on dental economics and introduction to the Black Book – Financial 2011 Business in Dentistry was presented. The Pre / Post data was collected and subjected to statistical analysis using SPSS version 10. Results77.9 % - 88 % participants in pre-test said that they had not been taught about the art of setting up a clinic; whereas, the ratio increased to 98 % after the intervention and post-test. This indicated that the lack of knowledge about how to set up a clinic can be one of the reasons for poor satisfaction among dentists in India. ConclusionsHence, introduction of such topic in the curriculum can further improvise on earning and in turn improve the dentist satisfaction. This baseline KAP study reinforces the need to consider the business side of dental practice, in particular, the importance of quality, creativity and innovation, alongside the importance of meeting the needs of patients.

Jung, ou, em outras palavras, as experiências de descida ao submundo, ou mundo dos mortos, seguidas pelo retorno ao mundo dos vivos, a anábasis. Em termos psicológicos, essas experiências significam o confronto com o inconsciente e a subsequente ampliação da consciência. Para revisitar as experiências de katábasis de C.G. Jung, resgatou-se, historicamente, a katábasis (1) na antiguidade clássica através da mitologia grega, (2) no período medieval e moderno, por meio das obras de Dante Alighieri, Emmanuel Swedenborg e William Blake, e (3) finalmente, na própria vida de Jung, com ênfase na constituição de O Livro Vermelho. As experiências de katábasis foram de vital importância para Jung e culminaram na gênese da psicologia analítica. ■


This article aimed to revisit C.G. Jung experiences of katabasis, or in other words the experiences of descending to the underworld, or world of the dead, followed by the return to the world of the living, the anabasis. In psychological terms, these experiences mean confronting the unconscious and the subsequent expansion of consciousness. To revisit C.G. Jung's experiences of katabasis, it was rescued historically (1) in classical antiquity through greek mythology, (2) in the medieval and modern period, through the works of Dante Alighieri, Emmanuel Swedenborg and William Blake, and (3) finally in Jung's own life with an emphasis on the constitution of The Red Book. The katabasis experiences were of vital importance to Jung and culminated in the genesis of analytical psychology. ■

Jung, o, en otras palabras, las experiencias de descender al inframundo, el mundo de los muertos, seguido por el retorno al mundo de los vivos, la anábasis. En términos psicológicos, estas experiencias suponen la confrontación con el inconsciente y la posterior expansión de la conciencia. Para volver a examinar las experiencias de catábasis de C.G. Jung, fue rescatada, históricamente, la catábasis (1) en la antigüedad clásica a través de la mitología griega, (2) en el período medieval y moderno, a través de las obras de Dante Alighieri, Emmanuel Swedenborg y William Blake, y (3) finalmente, en la propia vida de Jung, con énfasis en la constitución del Libro Rojo.
